We heard about this comedy club from someone who has been here before. As we're from the Netherlands, Europe, we love to experience this real American standup comedy. Not too fancy, not the touristy stuff, just (kind of) local. We had many good laughs. Keep on going Bo! And cherish the relaxed local Brooklyn vibe 🩷 …
Intimate space to enjoy an evening of comedy. Tickets are reasonably priced and notably they have no drink minimum. They do have drinks and snacks available for purchase which is convenient. I enjoyed the lineup the night we went, and the host did a great job opening and keeping things lively during transitions.
I've never seen so many white men get up in a row and have 0 point of view. Please tell us another joke about how you and girlfriend don't see eye to eye.
Edited to add:
However, my friend and I left that night having one of the most unique, interesting theater experiences in our lives. Something we still talk about.
Overall the venue is intimate, well laid out, the drinks were affordable and the crowd was friendly. Hope to see more interesting line ups in the future (I’m fine with all white guys, as long as they are clever or thoughtful, which many of the comedians that night were not).
This comedy club is a super intimate venue with excellent service. I genuinely wish this place the absolute best because they've contributed immensely to the Brooklyn comedy scene. The affordability factor is a pleasant surprise as well. I love this spot.
For what it is, perfect. Cheap tickets, drinks, and ample seating. Place somewhat reeks of popcorn, though. Been twice now and the comedy is variable, but that's stand-up. If you love it, you tolerate that sometimes someone does a terrible set. Mostly, Tiny Cupboard serves skilled, up-and-coming comics with solid jokes.
Pro-tip: if you show up early, sometimes you can catch the end of the previous show (space permitting). Just make sure to grab some drinks to support the venue.
6/7
What a gem! Went for the first time last night, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the comedians; each was top-notch and unique so we got a full array of style and content. No frills, no drink minimums, reasonably priced (both for tix and food). Glad I purchased a season pass, as I will definitely be back!
Super fun, low key comedy club. It’s a very intimate club. Chairs could be a bit more comfy. The folding metal PTA chairs are a touch uncomfortable. The club is easy to get to - very close to the subway. And the comedians delivered.
Visited for the first time on a hunch and it was much more than expected. The location was cozy and not crowded. The atmosphere was comfortable without feeling too intimate.
Each standup performance was unique and enjoyable. The headliner, even tho I had no idea who she was, was stellar. This feels like it's going to be my new go-to instead of venturing into Manhattan. There's no better feeling than a good spot closer to home
Thanks for a good show.
